Eligibility Criteria and Course Duration of MLIS at Netaji Subhash Open University
Master of Library & Information Science is a postgraduate degree in the duration of 1 year offered by NSOU. To be eligible for the MLIS programme from NSOU, candidates need a Bachelor of Library & Information Science degree from a certified university with at least 300 marks.
Applicants can take direct admission without qualifying any entrance exams, based on the merit score of the last qualifying examination. NSOU also gives marks relaxation to the reserved category candidates.
